Here's my version of that sentiment...
When you heard someone advocate for gun control, do remind them of the exceptions. Let’s see there’s the police; they have to carry, the military of course. Oh and all criminals carry.

    We are in no need of 'laws' for which the common law has already provided a means of redress. A 'crime' is an act in which a person's rights have been violated with a malicious intent. The transformation of forcing commercial statutes with criminal penalties upon the common people opens up an unlimited field of perpetual legislation and litigation until a free people have forgotten what personal responsibility even means.
