For the perfect example see Eric Schaub quote above.

I wonder how Dr. King would have felt about the Kenyan's submission to the UN of our soveriegnty in the false name of human rights? That Muslim and Communist nations should be able to question our policies? It is a supreme display of conscious ignorance coming from the District of Criminals.

For sincere ignorance and consciencious stupidity, nothing beats the voters in Massachusetts, New York, and California, although Nevada is close after reelecting Reid. And did I leave out good old reliable Cook County, Illinois, home area of our current excuse for a president.

he plagerized his doctoral thesis and King is not his real name. shouldn't that be taken into consideration?

Couldn't agree more. 3 buildings that people believe "fell down" on 9-11 due to aircraft fuel which burned off, a few seconds after impact, give creedence to the quote.

The old "it's for your own good" argument is a prime example. And for dozens more examples, read Waffler's posts throughout this site.

Sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity is dangerous but none more so than evil and conscious intent.

The Fed, dole recipients, most government employees along with support services, and government henchmen (IRS, Black Water, etc.) have vested interests in sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.

This perfectly describes the Tea Party.

Just look for the minority opinion all of the time and of course therefore you will always have the truth. How do square the concept that the minority always has the truth with the concept of "common sense". If sense is common that is held by most people then obviously the minority which holds a different idea of sense is not common and must be wrond, mustn't it be, therefore. What are guys smoking today, anyway?

Dr. King was way ahead of his ignorant constituents. By the time he decided that his people were slaves of the government, there were too many blacks who had figured that King was working against a good thing. Dr. King's "dream" has long ago been bastardized by the government freebies "blacks." We'll never get back to the real Dr. King DREAM.

What Dr. King says in this quote is describing America as it exists today and is probably what Dr. King was trying to tell us we should have avoided. We see people like Rev. Wright and Jessie Jackson telling blacks that they are "victims" of the American Dream. Yet, sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity are so much a part of black and white liberals that it is almost as common as the housefly today. Fortunately, we have Hannnity,Beck, and Limbaugh as very effective fly swatters.
