A large part of mankind is angry because of their sins. By "sins", I would deviate a bit here from a standard religious reference (though, both religious and secular sins violate the being). Within a secular scope of sin, the quote is more accurate than not; by example: victimless crimes, such as traffic violations, are sins against carnal phantasms (a government of gods / law makers). Victimless crimes violate the innocent party that has not harmed another. A large part of mankind gets angry with the sinner (speeder, non-belt wearer, etc.) not with the carnal god's sins.

    I observe in this quote the similar tone and content in that, of our concentration,  should be to attend more to the systematic features of the populous arrangement and less to the blaming of individuals.
