Source:	testified in Congress (1933). There were at least two attempts on his life by gunfire. He died of suspected poisoning after attending a banquet.

RBESRQ. The truth on its own stands alone and needs no one to say it because it stands silent and eternal until man uses words to say it. The integrity of truth cannot be diminished by man though he continues to try. If Hitler had said these words I wouldn't deny the truth of them simply because of who said it. I seriously doubt McFadden was the first to say these words and I know he's not the last because I've said them myself without quoting McFadden. The integrity of a man can be determined by whether his words twist the truth or state it as is, but his integrity is totally different and unimportant compared to the importance and integrity of the truth. I have often quoted people I dislike and been called on it and I have always stuck with my explanation of why I did quote them. I think truth can be heard from anyone. However, it greatly discredits McFadden's assertions of facts in this quote, that he was a supporter of Hitler and made many other foolish and unfactual statements.
