"I started out by viewing the marketplace as a cruel place, where you need intervention by government and lawyers to protect people. But after watching the regulators work, I have come to believe that markets are magical and the best protectors of the consumer. It is my job to explain the beauties of the free market."

I'm not quite sure how to rate this. It is somewhat accurate to see government and lawyers as protecting people's (RIGHTS); and, a real question being how rights are to be protected best. Also, the more free the market (under justice i.e. no theft, etc.) the greater the consumer's protection. Is it a journalist's job to explain the beauties of the free market? Is John Stossel considered a journalist or simply a free market advocate?

One could say to observe Natural law at work, Magical, Mysterious. Mysteries unfolding before man's very eyes, beholding harmony at Natural Law. Whether secular humanistic, or a Believers viewpoint in God and God's natural laws, makes no difference, nor does IT change, or care for, or, about personal private theory or opinion. Speak of the beauties, but better yet, mingled with the Doctrines of moral responsibility, that should be explained in concert, then beholding the natural beauty of God's nature.
