"The truth is that neither then nor at any former time, since I had attained my maturity in Age, Reading and reflection had I imbibed any general Prejudice against Kings, or in favour of them. It appeared to me then as it has done ever since, that there is a State of Society in which a Republican Government is the best, and in America the only one..."

Since Adams, the once representative republic has vanished. The linage of America's State of Society has been from king, to representative Republic, to statist theocracy. A happy 4th to each and every, any and all - for that which once was and now is lost and, for that which may return (law, justice, integrity, inalienable rights, freedom, liberty, and peace)

So far, only Jefferson or Jackson should have been President IMO. The rest are some period flavor of NWO, IMF, WB, ISAF, MIC, etc. Switzerland has a republic with a needed twist; a direct public referendum on important issues, but am not sure how they implement it, but of course have no need for the rest of the world's failed attempts at banking, as they have absconded with more than enough for eternal sustenance. I'll bet Phil Gramm is really enjoying his bought and paid for cubicle at UBS these days for getting rid of Glass-Steagal ! Another TARP (2) or QEx anyone?

For any neophytes in the crowd, the term "Republican Government" is not a reference to the Republican Party, or any other political party.

A 'Republic' means a State with duly Decentralized Political Power Functioning... and Most of the Monarchies of the past were quite so qualitatively....
