"In the first place, it is to be remembered, that the general government is not to be charged with the whole power of making and administering laws: its jurisdiction is limited to certain enumerated objects, which concern all the members of the republic, but which are not to be attained by the separate provisions of any."

Awww yes, the transition. From concepts of free to the now omnipotent occupying statist theocracy infesting this land. Where the dream once envisioned liberty, power and control now are given as reasons for the practicality of tyranny. The contemplated limiting of the fiery beast has been squelched by the general application of compelled compliance, license, victimless crimes, larceny with impunity (life, property, 2nd plank of the communist manifesto taxes, funny money, etc.), the tyranny of no perfected allodium and lack of individual sovereign inalienable rights recognition)

Wouldn't it surely be a most welcomed novelty if all of or elected and appointed representatives totally confined themselves to the enumerated powers and limitations clearly spelled out for them in the U.S. Constitution!

I wish someone would tell that to the MSM which treats every Presidential election as if we were picking our next master.
