You are right, warren, somehow it has become politically incorrect to bring up communism these days. Yes, McCarthy made a fool of himself and thus Americans became more complacent about the 'progressive' creep of centralized government and the 'transformation' of the media and educational system. In its simplest form, we have been conditioned to 'collectivism' at the expense of 'individualism'.
