Vedapushpa, I am not quite sure I understand your comment. Are you using sarcasm ? Are you making fun of fascists (sorta like - the beatings will continue until moral improves) ? History demonstrates over, and over again, the more severe the punishment for non-adherence to prohibitions, the more violent and immoral (with a trail of graft and slime) individuals making up society become. Vedapushpa...on what level would it be a human lapse? If I decide that Chai is evil and make a law against using it punishable by death...am I creating a moral law? By who's authority is it decided what a person can or can not put into their own bodies? By what moral foundation do we justify forcing our own "version" of morality on others? I don't advocate drug use but what others do to themselves is none of my business...and none of yours either. Staying away from the Doctors pushing heroin would stop the growth of true addiction. DRUGS ARE ALREADY LEGAL, it is the profiteering of a cornered market by Big Pharma that is the dupe of the ignorant lazy mind. Using the term ( legalizing drugs ) is a miss direction of understanding, HERB IS NOT A DRUG ! And should never be compared to a NARCODIC which it is NOT !! There again my Native culture was never and is not morally bankrupt, concerning the use of herbal remedies. Can gravity, physics, life, liberty, property be enforced? NO, of course not. Only tyranny can be enforced.
