"There are only two means by which men can deal with one another: guns or logic. Force or persuasion. Those who know that they cannot win by means of logic, have always resorted to guns."

Far more accurate than not. California is a great example; the greater the gun control, the greater the police brutality.

We exist in a day of the wanton cultivation of unconstrained emotionality.

Any whose emotions are other than under their own control are, necessarily, out of right mental control and are, consequently, generally, beyond reason and logic.

The thief inters the room to steal, the man of logic pleads his case. The thief pulls a gun, little knowing, he is already shot dead. The logical reasonable man teaches his children, not to steal, lie or cheat your fellow man. Never trust a fool in his folly, never give up the responsibility of self-defense.

Reminds me of compulsory education. Rather than make a logical, reasoned argument for whatever is being taught, 'educators' compel students to parrot the party line. Independent study is not encouraged, nor an honest dialogue or questions that challenge the narrative of dependence upon the powers-that-should-not-be.
