"Fascism, communism and national socialism all share in common the explicit premise that the individual must subordinate himself to society's needs, or as Hitler would phrase it: 'Society's needs come before the individual needs.' "

It is that exact tyranny that the occupying statist theocracy infesting this land parrots as its primary mantra.

Collectivist societies which no longer value the individual more than conformity, suppress excellence until they have nothing but dreary mediocrity.

Fascism, Communism and National Socialism are all systems to deny, violate and erase the natural Unalienable Rights and Choices of the Individual.

Okay, Mike: the 'Slstatist therocracy' that is infesting your POS country in 2008 inherited a total mess. They took the control of the White House with unemployment at 8.2% and $1.2 T USD in deficit. Now unemployment is 6.5% and your deficit is down to under $1 T USD: or do facts not matter fantasy universe?

Which part of this is bad or so evil that you have to constantly revile the people that turned everything around, despite being opposed at every corner by a Republican Senate and House. Everything in your country, in the last eight years, has been better. Now, you want to throw it all away on a orange-dyed clown, who will surely become the last POTUS.

"The individual must subordinate himself to society's needs" -- and who speaks for society when the individual is subordinate? What are society's needs and who says? And who enforces 'society's' needs? This herd mentality is exactly what meat packers want.

Hanson's statistics are incomplete and do not account for millions of unemployed who are not counted 18 months after their unemployment benefits expire. I don't know what deficit numbers you are quoting but as far as deficit goes, well ;-), ALL the money in circulation is borrowed at interest, and the US money supply was increased dramatically (QE1,2,3,4,...) Real GDP is practically nil, and this credit bubble is being propped up to keep up appearances. But the next crash is likely coming -- and I would prefer that Trump be on the scene rather than the Clinton's. At least Trump knows how currencies work as well as international trade. Obama and Hillary are in the pockets of Wall Street -- always have been.

    L. Hanson, Facts do matter and when I reference the statist theocracy infesting this land, that includes the more stupid and gulable of the patrons that live in such northern states as Alberta (the disenfranchised helot, serf and slave step children).

Five Percent (5%) unemployment at 31 December 2007 according to United States Department of Labor. Mr. Obamunist Goodwrench came into office touting shovel ready jobs. Not statistically but, by pure numbers, there are over 40,000,000 fewer people employed (of employable wage and physically able) as of this date than when compared to that same date of 31 December 2007. Children on government assistance has risen to over 60% of all children in Socialist Amerika. Over the last 4 years, the U.S. has had more business fail than start (the first time ever) and that doesnt count all the companies that have left due to socialist over regulation and over taxation. Adjusted for inflation, Amerikans are bringing home less money for hours worked than 8 years ago.

Socialist legislation has systematically continued to increase its usurpation, tyranny and racism. L. Hanson, I guess your definition of better and evil differ from mine.
