Certainly is the way it works. And no true "democracy" would breed any subversives except those who oppose the well-being of the common people. The US is not a democracy by definition. It is a federal republic, which is what has made it so easy for corporations to take control of the lives of everyone while creating a gov't that is no more than well-financed theater.
