The greatest of infidelities is the idea that there is no truth.

There is a group that fears one particular truth and that it might come to light. That is the group that owns the Fed and our Government. The same group pushing one world (communist) government. The same group that owns the printing presses that devalue your money just so that they can turn around and tell you that you owe them "more". It's economic slavery and it's the greatest scam in history. It must be stopped dead in it's tracks if we are to survive.

Though it is a tremendous infidelity, I can't say that it's not the greatest.

Agree. One point missing at "the greatest". But I understand Spencer's point: when you have no fear of the truth and face it in a properly manner, the supposedly existing fear gives way to better chances to solve a problem.

I agree, Carlton. The Fed has done more harm than any other single entity in this country. It repeatedly destroys the economic health of our citizens. We have come to think of it as the cyclical nature of capitalism, but it is not. It is an insidious plan to rape the American people of their wealth. The meaning of wealth in this instance is the people's hard earned living, not that the middle class is wealthy by any means. It's the middle class that suffers the most. The Fed should be abolished, but the Progressives will never allow it.

I'm going to give a 5 because I do believe that we lie because we fear the truth, and by not being true, we live in a fantasy world, and when living in a fantasy world, we 'hope for', 'pray for', and 'vote for' an even better 'fantasy.' Why don't people rise up against their oppressors? Because they are AFRAID!!! Playing musical chairs still works out for the last guy who gets a chair -- end the game and there won't be any chairs. (So who says we need chairs?) When the people value their own integrity, they will insist on integrity from their representatives. A man without honor is a but a beast -- and most likely a beast of burden as a result..

The truth IS bad. LOOK all AROUND US. And to get to the truth would require study and action. And to repair the current truth with a better one will require action. Head in sand. Head in sand. But I will stand. Until my body is buried in sand.

This is the justification of the-powers-that-should-not-be everywhere  to conceal the truth from the people for their own good.  Forget about the fact that the bureaucrats are just people as well.  It is the lust for POWER that tramples all  by any means necessary.
