I don't know how to rate this. I can only assume that Sherman's rejection of political office was a good thing for law, liberty, freedom, and the unalienable rights of man. I think it's reprehensible to have a domestic terrorist, responsible for raping and pillaging, as well as callously destroying the property of millions of people, quoted along with true patriots.
