Big daddy Obama knows what is best even if we don't want any of it. About 70% of Americans wanted no part of Obama care but he stuffed it down our throats anyway. Will we remember in November?

You misinterpret that 70% number... two thirds of those not happy with the law think that it simply did not go far enough by not bringing us "Medicare for all"... and many of those two thirds think that "a step forward" (such as this law) is better than the regressive anti-humane treatment that the radical right propose (basically: profit for industry, death for the sick).

Trust must also start for without trust there is no beginning. I'm with Reston - the only reason why this health bill stinks is because it was designed for and by the corporate boys - why the hell do you you think health insurance and pharma stocks went up on the passing of the bill - WAKE UP AMERICA. Medicare for all - just cut the war machine expenses by 50% and that will pay for it alone. And we will still spend more on military than any other country.

A from Reston, how is your perceived profit for industry, death for the sick worse than the in fact death panels for the elderly?

The welfare statists' mantra is always "we know what is best for you." Every social ill is blamed on those that produce rather than those that do not, will not, and throw themselves at the feet of government to take care of them. The politicians then promise to take care of them at the expense of the supporters of the opposition -- empty promises that merely garner votes from those who do not value freedom but beg to be taken care of. For all you who think Obama's programs are aimed at taking down Wall Street and the rich, think again -- these policies only help protect monopolies for banking, insurance, pharmaceutical companies, and unions. Trillions of government dollars are being funnelled into the hands of these corporate giants -- their products and services need never compete with private enterprise, private investment, natural medicines and therapies, or even voluntary choice of consumers -- we are to be forcibly vaccinated and drugged to even attend a school -- drugs more dangerous and untested than marijuana or other herbs the possession of which will put one in jail. We are forced to use interest-bearing script in lieu of money, money is taken right out of our paycheck before we even have a second to use it (has everyone forgotten that it is OUR money, not the government's?), the government lays claim to everyone and everything -- no different than the English monarchy we separated from in 1776. Obviously, our government does not trust us to take care of ourselves even when we do not ask them for help -- how in the world can we trust them when they aim merely to exploit us from cradle to grave?

NOW people, look at the new IRS law, you MUST declare your guns, and pay a tax, $50.00. You are definitely not trusted, yes people, the beginning of the end of freedom. AT LEAST TALK to your friends, and vote the usurper out.

"We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: The stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission-which is the stage of the darkest periods of human force." (Ayn Rand) We ARE in the darkest period with the *Regime* now in power and it will only get worse until "WE the PEOPLE" vote these fascist pigs out of office and take our country back. Words have meaning. No language that I'm aware of, has a word that adequately describes individual sovereigns that hire servants to represent, protect and enhance inalienable rights and liberty at natural law. The traditional term government was carried over to the new experimental representative republic and began to enslave once again the noble free specie. The current occupying statist theocracy infesting this land has ABSOLUTELY NO!!! sense of addressing the experiment's principles, law or justice. In the de jure States united, by ultimate definition, no lawful government exists. The occupying statist theocracy infesting this land does not trust We The People AND; legitimately / lawfully I have no government to trust.
