And yet so many of the radical right quote this man in support of turning America into an orthodox "Christian" nation... hopefully this quote will help put them in their places... (would that there was a way to put them in jail for their sins).

    Where is this quote to be found, and in what context? I find it hard to believe, and the number of people attributing quotes to the Founders that were never made is legion It might be interesting to see the context of what he was talking about in using "orthodox Christianity."

    Sorry to burst your bubble people, but if you had bothered to do a search and look for this quote in context you would find that you cant find it in context because this quote is not from Jefferson. Do a little research try and find it when/where he wrote/said this. You won't because it's not real.
