"...and Whereas both Houses of Congress have by their joint committee requested me to recommend to the people of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many signal favors of Almighty God, especially a form of government for their safety and happiness. Now, therefore, I do recommend and assign Thursday, the 26th day of November, next to be devoted by the people of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being Who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, or will be ...that we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere and humble thanks for His kind care and protection of the people of this country previous to there becoming a nation... And also that we then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations, and beseech Him to pardon our national and other transgressions... to render our National Government a blessing to all the people by constantly being a governmment of wise, just and Constitutional laws, discreetly and faithfully executed and obeyed...(and) to promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the increase of science among us...given under my hand at the City of New York, the 3rd day of October in the Year of Our Lord 1789."

Spoken in the days when the People could acknowledge "that great and glorious Being Who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, or will be..."  The secularization of America has opened the doors to atheistic communism's religion of Power that has since hijacked the republican form of government.

They have taken over the currency, switching from gold and silver money to interest bearing IOU's (a fundamental communist plank), the public schools have been turned into indoctrination camps to disempower children and to re-write history.  Urban plantation's vote in nearly every capital city overrides the working families in the rest of the country — and elections are increasingly fraudulent — as the communists say, "it's not the voting but the counting."

Government bureaus with no law making authority are imposing rules on the People, requiring they be injected with a brand new, never tested before on humans, "vaccine" that is not a vaccine but an experimental gene therapy that actually makes you sick forever to stimulate the immune system, when in fact it weakens immune systems considerably month after month.  And unlike any other vaccination, if there are adverse reactions, the pharma companies (and the government) have given themselves 100% immunity from suits for damages.

This is world war, plain and simple.  The Western nations are being brought to their knees by leftist governments.  My god, Hitler never had such a reach, and the USSR couldn't even pull this off.

It is a Chinese takeover, with all the Western politicians in their pockets doing the heavy lifting.  China is the biggest beneficiary of all this, and it is absolutely intentional.  They managed to fix the US election (hundreds of thousands of mail-in ballots and phony IDs have been seized coming from China).  The Biden's have been helping China for decades — follow the money.

How can we get out of this if we continue to be dependent upon Chinese goods?  I went Christmas shopping the other day, and wondered how empty these stores would be if there were no Chinese products?  Every appliance, TV, plastic spoon, or toy would be gone.  These products are made with communist slave labor — not just the Ugyars but the majority of the population.

We must get back on track to defending Freedom and lawful Constitutional government — end the states of emergency which are long past due.  Tear down this wall!

Let us stand up against these obvious power plays designed to destabilize American life and foment civil war. And in the words of George Washington, with the help of Divine Providence we will succeed.

Nonsense, science rules out possibility of any god. We need to give credit to the individual who keeps the American and world hopes alive.

🤪 Sillik, lolol, hahaha! ! ! First, you have no clue what science is. You've been ask to give a science based (through a science methodology) how or why socialism works. YOU CAN'T. Science has NEVER ruled of the possibility of any god. OR, on the other hand, please illuminate your stated science. Scientifically, please let us know how creation occurred without an intelligent design, or how / why matter relates to matter (how/why) a neutron or electron consistently associates with each other, etc., etc., etc. Under a definition of "god", your claiming to be the sole socialist with humanity's only methodology to advancement (a god syndrome) contradicts your own statement.

Science is never settled, Fred.  And while we may not know the whole truth, it ever stands in front of us to be discerned rightly.

Whatever the origin of life and the universe, we know it was not man.  The theory of evolution is just that, a theory.  And if you do the math, it is mathematically impossible that everything in this world evolved from nothing in 15 billion years  the human genome has hardly changed in 100,000 years, certainly not enough time to randomly evolve in 15 billion.

The artist is known through his art  each stroke and color has been consciously chosen.  So too with the Creator of this world.  There is obvious intelligence behind the design of the human body, the plants and animals, not to mention the symmetry of the microcosm to the macrocosm.  It may be incomprehensible for man  that is why it is attributed to powers beyond our understanding.  I do not confuse religion with Truth, but I cannot rule out a creative intelligence behind the creation, in fact it seems self-evident to me.

And on this Thanksgiving Day I am truly thankful for the gift of Life and all that comes with it!

Mike,, Norwalk, At the very heart of science is it's simplicity. The universe is not as complicated as you seem to wish it to be. We are are simple creature ourselves, not all particularly that bright. The vast population appears to worship and glorifies the non-existence from which we came and no doubt has made a non-existent make believe, catch all, be the answer for all they can't answer, named god. We are not all that sophisticated of creature, but hopefully we can someday be of significance.  We are just star stuff with some very limited creativeness, in the context of universal scope and depth.  To be of any significance, we are going to have leave the glorification of death, and its regressive god brain drain. 1+1=2 simply cannot be altered, there is no god, it's as simple as that.

Mr Archer, Science looks to settle the issues as best it can. Its solved a few mysteries.  Sorry, I'm inclined to agree with Carl Sagan's book.  Evolution is not just a theory, it is a fact of life.  Don't know anything about a genome. My interest is in appropriate behavior. Appropriately behaved, I believe human beings can orbit the far away stars. I'm not all impressed with human beings. Humans are a simple creature, not that particular intelligent, but with proper behavior I believe they can be intelligent. Appears almost everyone is a criminal. To properly administer science, we sure could make strides being law-abiding.  I surely don't believe you have to be a criminal to acquire, but I have to admit I've never met anyone who acquired anything much without being basically a criminal. I believe in acquiring abiding by the law. I slept in a one person tent last night, Thanks-giving night. But I do appreciate what I have.

Mr Archer, I believe human beings, however, are good. Just most, the criminals, have abandoned  their humanity. The criminals are not human. The criminals have degenerated from their human status. If we could regenerate the criminals this would assist the human cause. The human as simple, as I believe I am, does try to strive for accuracy. The criminals are never accurate. The human is pretty much accurate in  expression.

Additionally Mr Archer, the criminals are typically not accurate, violent and seem to always believe in God, most of the time.  I believe I'm the only atheist. The other "atheists" are out to be the goat atheists, so after awhile the are back to "born again" after the population arrangement recoils on them. For me, the elimination of supernatural assists in answering my questions.

And Mr Archer, the criminals are all racist, sexists, violent, pedophiles, and they spend all their time trying to reverse the situation by trying to apply those attributes to me by a made up make believe diversionary strategy, until I enter the world of sex and drug dealing. The criminals have a language of they're own and a signing strategy (they're primitive hunters) that tells them I have bad, by supposedly giving bad signs, intentions when I have no such notion.

Finally, Mr Archer, Evolution is more than an inclination with me.
I am devoted to it because I can't believe the world began with a couple named Adumb and Eval or whatever their name. No, quite logically it appears we arrived from a different species. An apelike creature of some sort, much more of an interesting and conclusive  approach for an individual of my aptitude, as simple as it is.

Mr Archer, I am not going to enter the sex and drug trade like everyone else. Humans are capable of being honest and decent.

Me thinks thou protesteth too much, Fred.  Your lack of sound reasoning is a poor argument for 'science' of which apparently you know little.

For we truth-seekers, details matter, and in particular WORDS matter and have specific meaning.  If you keep changing the meaning of words and exaggerate things all to defend your true lack of knowledge, your 'argument' becomes fallacious, that is to say lacking any standing in fact.

You're going to have to do much better.  In fact, it is better to admit you don't know than to bank on mere opinion.

Seeking the existence of God is difficult if you can't agree on what the word God means.  Better to seek truth, to seek understanding, to uncover the deceptions and expose lies.  If God indeed does exist, you'll find him once the false 'facts' are discarded.

You do seem to however acknowledge the existence of the devil by your descriptions of man, and I half-agree with you in some respects.

Those of us who have seen the devil unmasked can recognize him gleefully pulling the strings of his puppets. Sadly, there is nothing more heartbreaking than watching those under his sway mock us as 'fools.'

All I can respond at this point is I believe in no devil. And not to make you angry Mr Archer, but to pay any acknowledgement to a devil is a pure example of the lack of sound reason.  Our degenerated mentally ill neighbors are, in their poorly educated condition, are quite capable of some very disgraceful activities. Seemingly making some childish made up bad fellow named a devil quite amateurism. No sir, there is no devil, just some severely mentally disordered individuals. I believe I have a very competent mental health function, and could pass an objective mental health assessment, for despite what I'm made to believe 1+1=2.
