Couple that with the founder's original intent, as defined by Jefferson, "Congress has not unlimited powers to provide for the general welfare, but only those specifically enumerated", and you have a clear understanding of the occupying statist theocracy infesting this land's gross and unlawful usurpations.

    Using the notion of providing for "The General Welfare" of the country, Congress can fund any hare brained scheme that suits them. They can and do anything they damn well please. They are mostly interested in getting elected and reelected and providing for their own welfare.

    Indeed. Interesting to note that Drayton became the head of the Second Bank of the United States that Andrew Jackson eventually "killed" due to wide-spread fraud and corruption. I'd like to know in what context Drayton's quote was in.
