"We must create out of the younger generation a generation of Communists. We must turn children, who can be shaped like wax, into real, good Communists.... We must remove the children from the crude influence of their families. We must take them over and, to speak frankly, nationalize them. From the first days of their lives they will be under the healthy influence of Communist children's nurseries and schools. There they will grow up to be real Communists."

Waffler will love this one. You got to love Amerika's government schools and how successful the godless communists have been here. How about those communist courts in New Hampshire that made that home schooled girl that was equal to or above the government schooled students go get programmed because she was too religious?

Wow! That reminds me of another quote about education: "Association of California School Administrators, quotes about Education-- "Parent choice'' proceeds from the belief that the purpose of education is to provide individual students with an education. In fact, educating the individual is but a means to the true end of education, which is to create a viable social order to which individuals contribute and by which they are sustained. "Family choice'' is, therefore, basically selfish and anti-social in that it focuses on the "wants'' of a single family rather than the "needs'' of society." ~ Association of California School Administrators....Sure sounds like the same thing doesn't it?

This is what Obama/Soetoro/Obama, the president usurper, the fraud and foreigner, was doing when he wasted the time of America's schoolchildren. www.davidbenariel.org

I wonder what speeches went on when Americans were planning their little genocide. Stupid is as stupid does.. It's amazing, there are few on this blog that actually know where the middle of the road is, most drive off the road be it right or left. It's also amazing how the right have become so good at projectionism as it is the right that want us dumb (they don't want sensible conversation around the kitchen table) and yet they blame the left for the very crimes they commit.

Name me a group, church, preacher or philosophy that does not try to push off their values and views on their and others young. The communists are no different that Mike in his narrow minded and dictatorial views towards home schooling and control of his and probably others progeny. Public education in the US is the freest of this tendency with children able to be themselves and learn a wide spectrum of views and make up their own minds about things. I had a preacher say to me once "It is not so much the adults but the children that we want, why else does the Catholic Church and so many others try to get into the act" Indoctrination my friends is every where especially in the far right, I agree with RBESRQ, where or where has the middle of the road, tolerant, and moderation in all things crowd gone. I think their are many of them but they stay the hell off of this site because of the plethora of nut cases that visit it. If you are for freedom and liberty to indoctrinate your kids then in fairness (if you believe in fairness) a communist must have freedom to indoctrinate his. But whether or not you really belive in fairness, liberty and freedom is a real big IF and is up for grabs. I am convinced that Mike does not believe in any of those three.

Waff, from your post I take it that you were against the Cold War. After all "they" have a right to indoctrinate as well right? I agree that they have the right to self determination. Which would negate any US involvement in their affairs...correct? Odd though, how while we were fighting the cold war and going after communists with McCarthyism etc...that somehow communism came right in the back door of the USA. And now we indoctrinate just as they did....exactly alike. Go figure...

Robert, you are correct about the right but, it is the left that want us dumber than dumb (they don't want sensible conversation around the kitchen table) and yet they blame the right for the very crimes they commit.

A Catholic school, Jewish school, Islamic school can only be expected to teach their own religions. A government school should only be expected to teach the values of the religion of State. I will say that Communists know how to "care" for their young, just like ants care for their larvae. It's not a very human kind of care however.

I give a thumbs down only because of its intent.
If you have read Carl Marx this was not his intention - communism gets a bad rap because of the Bolsheviks who came to power after the revolution...

Robert, "Communism gets a bad rap?" Gee I wonder if it has anything to do with the suffering and hundreds of millions murdered body count that it brings?

Please give us an example of how communism has brought anyone freedom, justice and prosperity to those that has lived under it. Wasn't it Albert Einstein quote that said " insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome?"

It's amazing the progressive/pro communism mindset that believes that if only they were in control of communism that they could make it work and actually achieve the utopian dream on earth. What madness!

We have ALL been conditioned throughout our childhood (and some even now, too!). That being so, it is essential to reexamine long held beliefs and customs. What do we assume? What have we presumed? I can bear witness to the phrase, "The truth will set you free." But I had to let go of a few untruths along the way. That is 'real' liberation.

Robert, over the years you have left some arguably intelligent responses. "communism gets a bad rap because of the Bolsheviks" ? WHAT ? ? ? Having read Karl Marx, he was a very angry and bitter individual (maybe even justified in his own mind or by justice norms). He hid his personal vengeance in a cloak of economic and social struggle. By way of example, what plank of Marxs manifesto expressed the nobility of man through terms of liberty, was it abolition of personal property, was it a heavy progressive or graduated income tax, was it abolition of an individuals right to give to his posterity, was it the states right to confiscate all property (including that from emigrants and rebels), was it centralization of credit (a Federal Reserve for example), was it centralization of the means of communication and transport, was it factories and instruments of production be owned by the State (such in now the corporate canon and execution of eminent domain in the current occupying statist theocracy infesting this land) etc., etc., etc. Again WHAT ? ? ? If I were to say, all atheist gays should be exterminated because that would end class struggle and my intent is only to help the down trodden, worker, would I get a bad rap ? I WOULD SURE HOPE SO ! ! ! Communism gets a bad rap because it is an enslaving lie. Communism gets a bad rap because of intent - as expressed in the here quote, Marx's 10 Planks, and all applications of the godless religion ! ! !

Waffler, churches are voluntary, theocratic seminaries (government schools) are mandatory BIG DIFFERENCE ! ! !  Personally, I have a parental charge to educate those offspring I help to bring into this world. Body politics only have duty / responsibility to protect, enhance and administer individual sovereignty, inalienable rights and liberty at nature's law;  NOT infringe on my responsibilities by foreign mandates that are diametrically opposed to my personal sovereignty, rights, liberties and responsibilities. Indoctrination and moderation by the Woke, socialists (left, right and center) and otherwise demonic totalitarians is still antithetical to the law of nature.

This is not specified, not harmonious, with inferences of manipulation. This address does not sound positive enough to meet societal cohesiveness. Communism is a social device to involve all, and evoke all participants to recognize and strive for a more passionate advancement of human qualities. Communism is not manipulative, discordant, or devicive, but the harmonious challenge for all societal members to reach the most advanced position of human practices and qualifications. We are in this life dimension together and more we understand our connection the more resilient we will be. To be.

Sillik, hahahaha  lolololol, WHAT? ? ?  Your here lie / circular word salad concerning your religion was almost adequately done. To form, I see you are attempting to redefine communism. Communism is an administrative form of socialism where all sentient chattel are owned by the State or other nomenclature defining the collective herd. In communism's totalitarian ownership of property (sentient chattel, land, production, etc., etc., etc.) there is only discordant and divisive manipulation. Your religiously defined terms such as passionate, advancement and human qualities are all realized in the real world as pain, digression and man's inhumanity to man. Socialism challenges all human nobility and abilities, creating disconnects from beneficial relationships.
