"If you depart from moral absolutes, you go into a bottomless pit. Communism and Naziism were catastrophic evils which both derived from moral relativism. Their differences were minor compared to their similarities."

By way of example: Hebrew natural law or, the individual sovereign of inalienable rights that manifests innate "powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them" arrays allegorical principles that are recognized as moral absolutes. Where man as a god can create law based on moral relativism, a decadent malfeasance arrays itself in such systems as Communism, Naziism and Socialism in general.

The way these systems were enforced was very similar.

Moral absolutes are also very dangerous because they also leads to fanatism, like religious fanatism, that has produce so many suffering and dead.

luis, perez; within the parameters of legal systems fall different understandings. The moral absolutism here references a distinction at natural law (all categories - science, physics, fiscal law, etc. have ultimate absolutes, any morality there related is absolute also). At such natural law legal system, moral relativism uniquely relates to religious dogma. At "legal positivism" (which is now an un-named religion / a violently criminal activity that now infests the totality of world governments) moral relativism (religion) mingles with government (rules by force and violence) commingling moral relativism with heinous force / violent brutality. An example of accuracy of your statement is the moral relativity of socialism as a religion mingled with government of force - the 20th century was the bloodiest, most brutal, and violent in recorded history.

Straying from original intent and boundaries. Non-interventionist vs intervention, Washington's sentiment concerning Europe's many warring religious secs. If 70% of communistic indoctrination comes from the protestant clergy, it stands to reason that the separation of doctrine, the isolation is made apparent. " watered down" liberty and freedom. The ground is flat and dry around the Tree of Liberty. It is termed, high dry ground. ( Moral relativism, threskeia, superficial religion) = mystery of iniquity, through works of the flesh. As the apostle Paul labored so hard to teach this understanding of Spirit and flesh, the relationship of, and leadership sought for, of the Spirit. The works of the flesh are manifest, as also the fruits of the Spirit in all goodness, nine in all. A constant aspect of natural law. Nine is the number of the covenant at natural law, which exposes the promises made to Abraham. " For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. Which things are an allegory.for these are the two covenants. The desolate hath many more children than she which has a husband. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman. So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free. STAND FAST therefore in the Liberty." Gala 4: 22,23,24,29,30,31. 5:1

Regardless of "right" or "left", this here is often ignored: "Their differences were minor compared to their similarities." This is important. Should be shameful for those defending socialism.

Fascism saved Europe from Communism. The two are very different and to associate them as being the same is moral relativism.

Not at all. There is a vast difference, to just name one of the thousands of differences. Communism issued script and Nazis had gold back currency. ie property based money. The author here is ignorant.

Not at all. Communism was gangster rule ie the peasants, Lenin released prisoners and they wiped out the Russian Military leadership, whereas Nazis leaders were the Army and well educated. The author is an alarmist not based in historical fact, indeed a moral relativist himself.

Don Lee, you are swatting at gnats while swallowing the camel (a part of your feast is the use of moral relativism). Socialism is most simply any of various economic and political theories advocating or implementing collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods. By example in the U.S. the moral relativism of the occupying statist theocracy infesting this land has replaced total private ownership or perfected allodium with titled property and turned individual sovereigns into slave chattel by implementation of the 16th Amendment (the same as done by NAZI/fascist socialism and communist socialism). The only real difference between NAZI/fascism socialism and communist socialism is the manner of administration. Fascism extends itself through corporatism in owning and controlling everything while, communism owns and controls everything in a single name (collective, the State, etc.) Any other details added to administrative peculiarities is only a personal thought of how to best control by the administrators.
