    I studied transcendentalism and while it is a great art form or a manner of classifying a type of writing genre, I feel it has little to offer other than that. When we only see reality as a concept, we are living in a world of make believe. I would tend to agree with the input from Reston VA. Great insight, thank-you.

    It's a sweet sentiment and may be valid in some cases where it's not thwarted by some ideology or doctrine like tribalism, nationalism, theism (or belief system), fascism, socialism, capitalism, etc., ad nauseam. I'm sure it seemed a sensible philosophy at Walden Woods within a relatively homogeneous mind set.
