As a stand alone quote Hamilton captures the essence of liberty here. Sadly though this cretin was probably the first politician in American history to be bought and paid for by the central baning cabal of the day. The first "traitor" to the very principles he describes here as being essential to the American way of life. That same banking cabal is what is running and ruining our way of life to this very day. Madoff is in jail for life for running a Ponzi scheme and a man in Florida is facing a 20 year sentence for bilking some folk out of 900 million in another similar scheme. Members of Congress live the good life and retire rich for doing worse than these two. Jim... I have to add that Congress had no business in even questioning Roger Clemens in the first place.
