A tree is known by its fruit . Wisdom and understanding, the fear of the Lord is wisdom and to depart from evil is understanding. Seek after that which good is. An evil child is known by his doing.

Why the thumbs down, watchman? Hannah Arendt is spot on. We spend a great deal of energy trying to protect ourselves from 'the evildoers' while most of the evil perpetrated in the world is done by those who simply allow it or further evil without awareness.

The statement is without knowledge of the source. There is none good. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. There I not a just man upon the earth that doeth good and sinneth not. The ways of a man are of the Lord so who can know his on way. Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour ? Therefor hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth . The nature of a man is to oppress by way of the law where mischief is framed. Who is in control of their actions? Know thyself. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Rom 4:5 . By grace through faith we stand in liberty by being freed from the law of sin and oppression. As with a nation so also with a man.

watchman, It is a sentiment like yours that has been the source of evil for millennia. Religious authority to destroy the 'evil doers' has turned us into the evil doers with a clean conscience. I do not agree with your dogma, nor do I claim to speak for a deity and thus justify all matter of evil in the name of 'righteousness.' There is not a religion in the world that respects liberty.

We live in a country ordained under the grace of God. But the children deny the power there of. Ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their lust shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
