Me too ! ! ! In the de jure States united (U.S.A.), at natural law (the laws of nature and of nature's God), where each individual was sovereign and inalienable rights were held sacrosanct, the here quote described well the originating jurisdictional intent.. Now that the occupying statist theocracy infesting this land has implanted its standing army in every jurisdiction (the smallest hamlet to the nation as a whole - police state) and converted the vast majority to its religious / socialist dogmas though its theocratic seminaries (government schools), the media's industrial complex, welfare dole and other assorted means, few there be that resemble the here statement.

    Spoken by some one who was never in the military ! But at face value, I agree, though slavery is alive and well today, in sheep's clothing. No one was freed after the civil war, ownership was the only thing to change and created a larger slave population.
