"Most marijuana smokers are Negroes, Hispanics, jazz musicians, and entertainers. Their satanic music is driven by marijuana, and marijuana smoking by white women makes them want to seek sexual relations with Negroes, entertainers, and others. It is a drug that causes insanity, criminality, and death -- the most violence-causing drug in the history of mankind."

"Most marijuana smokers are Negroes, Hispanics, jazz musicians, and entertainers." . . .

In other words "Most marijuana smokers are people."

    No kidding!

A good historical reference that reflects the racism that was part of the impetus of drug laws. However, the specific source is not cited.

Have you ever had the opportunity, to come in from the field. A long hard day. As with Denominational churches, The little old ladies in the back wanting to run the show. Well, they say, I think so in so should do this or do that. No I think so in so should do this or that. Well I will tell you, if George, does not do what I tell him, Then he want get any supper from me !
Church of Christ, has done more harm from the cackling in the back row than most. Sue told of her control over her husband, Don't drink so much coffee Bill, you get edgy, and stop smoking that cigar in the house, it stinks. And when he gets back in from the field, I'm going to put my foot down about the that stuff in his pipe to. During the mean time, Bill comes in from the field, Goes to the garage or barn, pulls his pipe out, has a puff, goes in to the house, gets a cup of coffee, and ask his wife, what have you been doing honey, I've been on the phone with Pat, her husband George, well you know ! So bill says, ok honey, grabs a bite to eat, goes to the barn gets his pipe, has a puff, goes back to the field, plows another 100 acres, And thinks to himself, Boy I sure needed that puff, and another cup of coffee, Think I'll have a puff off my cigar, then finishes plowing the field.
It has been my experience with in ageing congregations, that the sway of chickens in the back row always want to Be the roster in the pulpit. God calls men to be men, and not little cackling chickens, who run their mouths with nothing better to do. Thank God for the puff on the pipe. or a sip of this or that. that we might call the ladies, honey, rather than, some times what we think ! It is amazing how a slippery little thing can have such a hold on the men, and this country. MEN need to get some back bone. to maintain control, for their sanity and peace of mind, weather you get supper that night or anything else !

Any study into the passing of early drug laws will demonstrate that the intent was to regulate the "degenerate races" (as Aslinger is attributed to have said). Even today, blacks and hispanics are unproportionally imprisoned for drug crimes more than whites. With so many black men cultivated by the revolving door of the 'justice system' it is a primary cause of broken families among blacks. The resulting black market is also a violent arena, where none can come to the aid of another, especially the police. Legalizing drugs will transform these neighborhoods over night! Starve organized crime and gangs -- you cannot control them. AND it costs over $30K a year to imprison someone -- that is not including the cost of 'enforcement.'
