"Assault weapons laws resemble hate speech laws. Hate speech laws usually begin by targeting a few words that almost no one approves. Once the system for controlling and punishing “hate speech” is put into place, there is little or nothing to stop it from expanding to punish more and more types of everyday speech. Similarly, once an assault weapons law is on the books, there is little to prevent politicians from vastly increasing the number of weapons banned under the law. The main effect of banning assault weapons is to give government an excuse to arrest and imprison millions of Americans while doing little or nothing to reduce crime. America has a limited number of police, and politicians must decide who the real public enemies are. If Mr. Clinton signs an assault weapons ban, it could signal the start of an attack on gun owners’ constitutional rights that could far surpass all previous gun bans."

Any time the Government engages in the practice of singling out and marginalizing an identifiable portion of the population it is engaging in the same social engineering policies used by Hitler, Stalin and a host of other despots. And it should be seen for what it is...a divide and conquer tactic.

The idea of hate crimes and banning assault weapons is simply a foot in the door for all sorts of government attrocities.

In the de jure body of servants, hired by individual sovereigns united, such represent the each and every, any and all individual sovereign rights. Any deviation from that is tyranny, AND, When a representative (executive, legislative, or judicial) acts outside the authority and personal lawful prowess of each or any one individual sovereign, the representative ceases to represent the individual sovereign but rather (as is the case now) represents a totally aloof and independent occupying statist theocracy or, some other despotic form or unconstitutional tyranny. Welcome to Amerika.

Property: is “the unrestricted and exclusive right to a thing; the right to dispose of the ⋯ thing in every legal way, to possess it, to use it, and exclude everyone else from interfering with it” (Black’s Law Dictionary 1st, ed.)

A “Right” / “Rights”: is/are tangible matter’s inherent and inalienable preeminent entitlement - prerogative to act in/at each and every, any and all way(s) within/at justice, natural law, equity, life, liberty, property and happiness. Rights are unique to the individual (emanating from the “being”, rights are NOT, nor can they be: social, collective, or dependent on others). Rights are Divinely endowed by nature’s Creator (lawfully / legally outside corporeal man’s legislative, executive and judicial authority, prowess and power to adversely regulate, injuriously affect or otherwise deleteriously act upon). Liberty is: “The power of acting as one thinks fit, without any restraint or control, except from the laws of nature.” (Bouvier’s Law Dictionary)

Liberty is the “exemption from extraneous control. The power of the will, in its moral freedom, to follow the dictates of its unrestricted choice, and to direct the external acts of the individual without restraint, coercion, or control from other persons. Liberty is the right which nature gives to all mankind of disposing of their persons and property after the manner they judge most consistent with their happiness, on condition of their acting within the limits of the law of nature, and so as not to interfere with an equal exercise of the same rights by other men.” (Black’s Law Dictionary 1st ed.). Clarifying original fact, natural law intent, and de jure jurisprudence: “Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law,' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.” (Thomas Jefferson) “Personal liberty, or the Right to enjoyment of life and liberty, is one of the fundamental or natural Rights, which has been protected by its inclusion as a guarantee in the various constitutions, which is not derived from, or dependent on, the U.S. Constitution, which may not be submitted to a vote and may not depend on the outcome of an election. It is one of the most sacred and valuable Rights, as sacred as the Right to private property ⋯ and is regarded as inalienable.” (16 C.J.S., Constitutional Law, Sect.202, p.987).

Arms (weapons) and speech, both are elements of, and exist absolutely and substantively at / under “the laws of nature and of nature’s God” (Declaration of Independence), Constitutional law, equity, common law and justice – such are at liberty, “property rights”.
