Crime needs be prosecuted for justice to prevail. Thought police, association police, victimless crime police are all symptoms of a tyrannical state. Persecution can not be justified under any circumstance.

The problem is that the 'truth' is not always known -- and hence should never justifies persecution. Defending oneself from persecution is not persecution. Exposing untruths is not persecution.

Truth needs no persecution to prove it, only rational thought and repeatable experiment. I'm sure a lot of people wish they were being "persecuted" like Al Gore, what with his 20,000 square foot homes, jet setting lifestyle, and billions of dollars worth of stocks based upon countless dupes' belief in a hoax. Al Gore is much like Jim Jones and if you drink his Kool Aid, will eventually give you the same result.

We humans do not persecute anyone. We diagnose the mental illness and repair the condition to allow productive forces to be accessible to our former patients. When they are productive they are healed.
