Ahhh yes, such truth, knowledge, wisdom and understanding past down through the ages and yet, there are those who have never known, choose to ignore, or have forgotten history, as they are doomed to relive it.

We should learn Seneca more and more, to understand this world!

No shi***. But it logically follows that the killer would be much tamer without the tool. Thank God I heard yesterday that we are disarming our B53 bombs somewhere in or near Amarillo, Tx. It has taken 30 years to figure out how to disarm these most deadly bombs in our arsenal. How great would the world be without swords and guns? What Mike considers wisdom never ceases to amaze me. This is the stupidest and shallowest quote I have read. Swords and guns are made for a purpose and that is to kill. Simply because they are laying idle does not remove their essence or their potentiality. Again thank God we are disarming some of our pet potential killers.

Same as it ever was. The number one reason to be armed is to defend oneself against THEFT. Thieves are not created because people are prepared to defend themselves against them; it is the other way around. There will always be those that aim to steal from others -- and they always can justify it to themselves. Whether it is an armed robbery or an unconstitutional 'law' -- the goal is the same, to TAKE what one has not earned for whatever reason. Waffler would have us all submit to perpetual authority as he supports their robbery to pay for his salary as a federal government employee. The last thing government wants is for people to have the power to resist unlawful dictates from the State. Waffler's hypocrisy is evident as he gives 5 stars to a quote that he says is the stupidest and shallowest quote he has ever read. Genius.
