"The phase of the usury system which we are trying to analyze is more or less Patterson's perception that the Bank of England could have benefit of all the interest on all the money that it creates out of nothing. ... Now the American citizen can, of course, appeal to his constitution, which states that Congress shall have power to coin money or regulate the value thereof and of foreign coin. Such appeal is perhaps quixotic."

The law of nature or Nature's God that lintels the fiscal law concerning an intrinsic value relating to a medium of exchange (being harmonious with allodial freehold and true tangible wealth) is an integral aspect of a free We The People. Anything else (as exampled by democracy, socialism, statist theocracies, all forms of funny money / usury system, etc.) is a quixotic illusion and a vivid pictorial of slavery.

Who cares if it's an a quixotic illusion, I just want to see it's put back to the way it's supposed to be.

The market ALWAYS sets the true value of hard and fiat currencies. But a fiat currency allows the money-creators to spend it first before the market can react. Gold and silver cannot be created out of thin air like Federal Reserve Notes. Plus, a 'currency' that consists of interest-bearing promises-to-pay continue to send rivers of money to the bankers who created their currency out of nothing FOREVER! If we want to go back to gold, there will be a war -- the bankers will not give up their immense power because of a few protestors. This economic crash in America is a perfect example -- as the people have started to wake up, the government is borrowing (i.e. creating funny money out of nothing with interest due) at an alarming rate to create more government and destroy private enterprise. The intent has never been more clear -- the noose is tightening.
