Then you find no true teacher, which are called for the purpose of a guide. Dow gives birth to one. So each must walk the path before them. The guide has walked the ten thousand steps. Combining the forces of positive and negative. Reaching harmony. As with far eastern, so also even in Christ. To know thyself, then one can teach peace.

I like it - kind of Zen. As a truth seeker, I can relate... ;-)

I will walk my own path independent of seekers and finders. It has been my experience that the vast majority of seekers of truth are in fact not looking for truth; but rather, they are looking for a justification to self induced mors. The same is true of finders. There are but a very select few searchers, such as Archer and Ronw13 above that by their statements are, I believe, truly looking for truth. Do I always believe what they say - no but, I believe far, FAR more often then not, what they say is worth the search. As I am a seeker of truth, it would be my hope that no one believed me; possibly only taking what I say and checking it out for themselves. It has also been my experience that the vast majority of those claiming to have found truth are either liars or hypocrites. Those few honest at heart who have claimed to find truth are still on a quest to find more, greater and the single truth.

How does one recognize the truth when he/she hears it? How do we discern? I readily admit that I do not know, but I have found that by simply being honest with myself and others can tear down walls, break chains, and light the way. Truth IS a revelation -- because it always was/is, whether we are aware of it or not. Seeking truth may not always reveal answers, but it can certainly reveal lies -- I'd rather I knew nothing than base my life on a bunch of lies. The hardest lies to uncover are the ones we hold dear as true.
