Taft's list is a good start. The individual's liberty is displayed when there exists: allodial freehold, statutes defining the God of Nature's laws, a government with no inherent rights - only passive (as derived from the individual sovereign); and when there is no: compelled compliance, license, theft of the noble laborer's fruit, victimless crimes, torture for any reason - especially for information gathering, forced charity/ID/insurance, socialist/fascist - liberal/conservative indoctrination, funny money, repression of religious expression in public, etc., etc., etc.  -- Mike, Norwalk
