Just another unalienable right endowed by our Creator that has unlawfully been legislated non-recognizable. For one example out of many; I once was in a State where I was helping expose an IRS malefactor for what he was. The State had just passed a statute that health inspectors needed no warrant to enter a home. I and my family returned to the house we were renting to find a 'Notice' on the kitchen counter, signed by that specific IRS agent. The letter stated it was an inter-agency assist and they were looking for rodents. The only place they looked for rodents was the file cabinet in the bedroom / office.

Hey, this all meaningless. Your Senate just passed a bill that gives every cop the right to hold any citizen, without cause indefinatly. In CANADA we have a Charter Of Rights And Freedoms that is, apparently more sound than y'all's Constituton. Something like our banking laws

Hanson, the Omnibus Crime Bill going through Parliament is Canada's own little Patriot Act. And Canadians have had no rights other than those "granted" ever since Trudeau's enactment of Martial law and the Military Commissions Act. As far as the Chrter goes, have you ever read it? What's really notable about it is what "isn't" said. Like what rights you actually do have...none! It's nothing but vague legalese. Wake up!

PS Hanson, while Canada's Banking system is indeed more sound than most, it is now being used to "bail out" the Euro, which is a complete waste of money. So being the last banking system to go down the toilet isn't much consolation is it? Because it will go down with the rest...

The Constitution is one of the greatest documents ever written, so naturally our government pays no attention to it.

L Hanson, that is the point. The whole world, even our neighbors to the north, know that the de jure United States of America exists no more. The de facto Union of Socialistic Amerika (U.S.A. - aka the occupying statist theocracy infesting this land of once free people) ignores completely said founding document (the Constitution) It is very well known and absolutely established that no one, at any time, or any where is secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures. Now, Canadians aren't even secure from the U.S.A.'s fascist imperialism with the newest treaties signed.

Who would have thought that it would be under Obama's administration that habeas corpus would be taken away forever -- it was already gone with the Partiot Act, now they are trying to make America a permanent 'battlefield.' Blame We the People for letting ourselves be programmed and becoming dependencies upon government cheese.
