Odd isn't it, that the government will pay dairy farmers in one part of the country to "not" produce, while subsidizing Monsanto to produce chemical injections that increase milk production in other parts of the country. Chemical injections that actually make the dairy cow quite ill and produce sub standard milk...it's insane. Some Canadian kids made a documentary called "The Corporation" that address this and many other issues. Smart kids! -- J Carlton, Calgary 2

If most people knew how much the government spends (i.e. borrows) to pay farmers to keep land fallow (i.e. not grow anything) and subsidize every major industry in order to keep paying businesses to NOT produce, they would be dumb-founded. The intent is to centralize everything into the hands of Washington so that campaign contributors will benefit at the expense of producers of competing products.
