"Intelligent companions" I think is crucial and why compulsory government schooling does more harm than good. I was a very good kid before I got thrown into public school and exposed to a very large variety of ignoramus's and their habits. Being smart was considered to be a strike against you. Archer, I'm with you. My last child to graduate from college just did it with multiple degrees. This particular child also started college at age 15, got married, had kids, never took out a loan, never got a grant, didn't ask me for money, was the president of clubs on campus, would rather read a book than watch tv, and never attended a day of government school.
