    ;-) This is straight out of the authoritarian's playbook.  "You can't enjoy freedom unless you are ruled by your betters."  FDR officially put America on the road to socialism  somewhere between Stalin's communism and Hitler's fascism, and America has never been able to return to true Republicanism.  Saddest of all is that the majority of the population doesn't even know it.
