Yes Of course: We have become 'Best informed' 'Less knowledgeable' and 'Least wise' .!! The modern-age motto of 'Secularism' of sorts which has so avowedly 'negated all traditional knowledge and wisdom' - labelling them as 'religious superstition'..is the main cause .. and this Ignorance needs to be 'removed'. .

Some wise person once said, "It ain't what we don't know that causes all the trouble, it's what we do know that ain't so".

What society is he talking about? Panamaian or some other! To the gentleman from India are your comments addressed to a particular national society or to the modern world society at large? We certainly are not dying of ignorance, population growth and life expectancy keeping growing, health care is becoming more widely distributed. If he is referring to over population and evironmental degradation I agree with 100%, the ignorant thumb their noses at the educated ones like Al Gore.
     -- Waffler, Smith
  •
Al Gore? If that is what you think is educated you are not just misinformed. That is the stupidest thing any one has ever said in here.

Hi Warren glad you are staying tuned and still have a whimsical edge!

Al Gore is a lying moron...surrounded by lying morons. His whole money making "schtick" is based on flawed science and outright lies. "Man Made" global warming is about as preposturous an idea as there could possibly be. But step right up folks and empty your pockets int the third world so that we can all be the same.

Waffler, I agree with you this time, wow, you're right, Al Gore IS an ignorant nose thumber. Right on Waffler!

Because we are not generally informed, we are conditioned. Recent articles have highlighted the number of investments Gore & Co. have in many of the 'green' technologies that lawmakers are now forcing us to buy. For example, incandescent light bulbs will soon be illegal and considered contraband -- instead we are to buy the new fluorescent bulbs being tauted everywhere for about 4 times the cost AND are filled with MERCURY and thus an even greater threat to the environment. He makes his money from cap and trade, too. These guys are bullshitters and they know it! Global Warming has been changed to Climate Change -- !! So we are going to tax everyone and everything as long as the climate keeps changing? Give me a break!! I WANT climate to change -- don't you? What ignorance -- and arrogance, and even worse, blatant deception, profiteering, and monopolization. Yes, Gore does indeed thumb his nose at anything that threatens his corporate profits, lectures, and books. But I think Bill Clinton reallty takes the cake -- his lies are his lifeblood.

The repubs did the bait and switch on the verbage. They have their own language you know. Al was questioned on TV recently about his green investments and his answer was straight forward and honest, he said, "Well what would they say about me if I did not invest in what I believe in." I am sure Archer would not find in beneath himself to criticize Gore for not investing in environmental issues. Archer will stoop to any level to be ignorant and undignified.

Note to Mr. Archer: further Archer the quotes on this site are often contrary for the sake of being contrary and you suck right up to it unthinkingly. Well the site is about liberty that means freedom Archer. Start showing some rather than your sycophantic persona you have shown since I have seen your posts here.

Waffler, yeah you're right, I was just practicing what I've learned from watching corrupt poiticians in action. Your compliment is deserved by them, I have to give credit where credit is due.

Politicians that invest in companies and then propose laws that compel us to buy the products of these companies are not interested in freedom, they are interested in GRAFT and MONOPOLY. Whether Gore or Cheney or other 'Tammany Hall' wannabees, there is little difference -- they make their money by forcing us through government mandate to be injected, subjected, and addicted to their drugs, 'insurance,' subsidies, and dictates. Freedom is last on their list -- you may chose, but only from their lists. It is all too obvious to any student of political history.
