    And it's not too far off still in France, Germany, Britain, even the US.  People are being put in prison for social media posts that 'offend' politically connected groups.  The people's of the non-Western world have never been able to speak without retribution.  Heresy is still a crime in half the world, and it is being expanded to political dissidence.
