"We recognize the force of the argument that the effects of war under modern conditions may be felt in the economy for years and years, and that if the war power can be used in days of peace to treat all the wounds which war inflicts on our society, it may not only swallow up all other powers of Congress but largely obliterate the Ninth and the Tenth Amendments as well."
Justice William O. Douglas
(1898-1980), U. S. Supreme Court Justice
delivering the opinion of the Supreme Court, Woods v. Cloyd W. Miller Co., 333 U.S. 138, 143-144 (1948).

This is one of two areas where the Constitution has been relegated to the sidelines and made irrelevant. We are now just a division of the (immoral and corrupt) UN. We are sending kids to die without a declaration of war for the purposes of a NWO. It has to stop. Restore the Republic and Nullify the Fed.

I'm with J on this one. We need to get out of the Communist controlled UN before it's too late.

The War Powers Act of 1933 is still in existence today and totally runs counter to the U.S. Constitution.

And that is exactly what has happened. Yes, the nation has been in a constant state of emergency since 1933. And to make sure that war is constant, everything the government does is called a war -- war on drugs, war on terrorism, war on everything -- as George Carlin used to say, "Why? Because we like war! We are a war-like people. We like war because we are good at it. And we have to be -- we aren't very good at anything else, we can't make a TV or a VCR ..." The USA has been taken over from within by using 'war' as the justification for everything.
