    Perhaps we should practice this in Florida where they seem happy stealing an office and yet our prison is full of purse stealers. When will we wake up as a proposed civilized nation and become a beacon of integrity again (I think we were there once upon a time) instead of an example to the despots.

    Why Americans are not absolutely outraged and marching on Washington over blatant voter fraud in Florida and Ohio I do not know. If we won't even stand up for one of the last remaining protections of a democratic-republic, what will it take? I think most people have been so well indoctrinated that the possibility of our government officers being more crooked than Tricky Dick seems a remote possibility when in fact it is worse now than ever.

    We have become so acquiesced to corruption as common place that politics is definitely the beneficiary of this fatalism. Who knew that Nixon would leave behind a legacy that gave more permission to government to be corrupt, not less.

    Again, it is interesting how ignorant of Constitutional politics the average American is. The Constitution clearly states that the President is elected by the Electoral College. The electors that go there to vote for President are to be selected in whatever manner the Legislatures of the various states decide. So, when the Florida legislature declared that their electoral votes would go to Bush, it was over. It was the corrupt Florida Supreme Court that intervened in an unconstitutional manner. The US Supreme Court was forced to overrule the FSC on a clearly unconstitutional ruling. Of course, as usual, I will be accused by the know-nothings of being a Bush-backer. Interestingly enough, I am a Libertarian Party member; but don't let the facts get in the way of a good conspiracy theory. After all, Gore is good at idiotic theories, like "global warming," or is it now "climate change" since the temperatures aren't cooperating with Mr. Gore's idiotic claims - almost as idiotic as this whole stolen election thing.
