"Without general elections, without unrestrained freedom of press and assembly, without a free struggle of opinion, life dies out in every public institution…in which only the bureaucracy remains as the active element."

It would seem to me that CNN and MSNBC and their opinions are an example of the press moving into the bureaucracy!

Yes, but without strict limits to governmental power, our 'right to vote' can exceed its authority -- some things cannot be put to vote, some things cannot be compromised, some decrees from the government and majorities are not lawful and are invalid on their face. Learning to stand up for one's rights prepares us for the inevtiable battles ahead when some 'authority' takes something of yours and says "MINE!"

I guess all those things are under attack now. Only bureaucracy will be left if the fascists are not stopped. We now are looking at a treaty that will shut down any internet site in the word that would be accused of being guilty of something. The server would be denied access to the net until the owner could prove his innocence. Obviously any site the left does not like would get the Sarra Palin treatment.

A great deal of thanks to Wikileaks for exposing the "fake news" of the mainstream media. I do not believe ANY of their polls -- now that their polls show a higher favorability rating for Trump, I can only assume it is even higher than what they say, and Obama's much lower. They are not telling us how it is, they are telling us how it 'ought' to be.

This is the corruption of the press, science, religion, and politics: DECEIT but with good intentions. Accompanied with self-delusion and narcissism, and you've got one hell of a problem.

If the Truth sets one free, what does Falsehood do?
