"As we struggle to teach our children … we dare not forget that our civilization was built by men and women who placed their faith in a loving God. If Congress can begin each day with a moment of prayer … so then can our sons and daughters."

There be many little "g" gods. It is best to "know" which God our founding fathers embraced, when establishing this nation !

The occupying statist theocracy infesting this land advances little "g" gods (as Ronw13 identifies  humanism, socialism, etc.) dogmas contrary to faith in a "loving" God. Congress (representatives of individual sovereignty, inalienable rights and liberty at natural / common law  not sentient beings) follows (not leads) that which is natural and common to our sons and daughters.

Our present social arrangement has been built on the foundation of the belief of a God, but it is far from civilized. The removal of this primitive, farcical misguided belief of the God, as a solution or any solution, will put us on the trail to civilized manners and morals.  Remove the Gods, please!
