"Where once a tyrant had to wish that his subjects
had but one common neck that he might strangle them all at once,
all he has to do now is to 'educate the people'
so that they will have but one common mind to delude."

Welcome to the USA (Union of Socialist Amerika). When only anti-science prejudicial propaganda is set forth as the high standard of the educated, the tyrant has successfully deluded the common mind. (-; now exactly how much warmer has it been getting over the last 8 years?;-)

Mike tells it the way it is and I like that! He also confirms my thoughts for the future. Mike would make an excellent caller to my Saturday morning radio program The Advocates 8:05 - Noon wezs.com The Advocates for live stream. As for the climate change........as a native of N.H. I expect several snow storms with some sleet at times, but since learning of the dangers of Global Warming I have seen much more of what we already expected! Thanks to Al Gore for inventing the computer, we can all meet here on a regular basis. bnyoung@metrocast.net

He speaks not of education, but rather of indoctrination. Education teaches one to think, to collect data and synthesize it into information. There can not be any such "common mind to delude" when all can do that synthesis.

Reston I agree - Mike, try a million years, and if you believe in science like I know you do, you will understand the cyclical spread is getting closer. Religion has always deluded the common mind.

Whether Crown, Pope, or Committee, we must never forget that history is replete with people who believe they know better than everyone else and work tirelessly to capture our 'hearts and minds' for their own purposes and 'our own good.'

Thank God the USA is a free wheeling society where education is free and diverse. I agree with the Gentelman from Reston and Sarasota are on the right track. Those like Mike who deny science are some sick dudes. An eucated person knows that Al Gore did not invent anything but he was a part of the congressional thinkers that were instrumental in bringing the internet into fruition. It was his enemies who spread the story that he said that he had invented the internet. He never said that and those who claim he did say that are the liars and enemies of truth and science, just like they are the enemies of enivronmental science. May they all rot somewhere is my prayer.

"Free" education is worth every penny you pay for it. Pseudo-science promulgated by so-called scientists bought and paid for by the watermelon environmental lobby/Marxist re-distributionists is no more science than perpetual motion machines, i.e. they always promise but never deliver, and they always end up duping the gullible into handing over their money. There really is a sucker born every minute if not more often, and currently the suckers buy the glow bull warming lie. What's worse is they really don't plan on handing over their own money but, like the true Marxists they are, they plan on handing over someone else's money.

Waffler, you err once again by misinterpreting me. I am a firm believer in natural law. Science is to discover all those laws. I believe true religion and science are one in the same. To date, science has neither proved or disproved the existence of a god. Neither has science proved or disproved the origin of man. Science has explained and helped utilize such natural laws as thermal dynamics, gravity, man lives better and longer drinking clean water than polluted, etc.

You guys Mike and Ken are the enemies of science and Ken has made the reason clear. He thinks that a green environmental policy will cost him something. It has nothing to do with the truth of science but with how much of a cheap skate and how selfish vs slefless one is. Again those who attack Al Gore and that oil guy etcetera are enemies of truth and mankind.

As a scientist, I can say without a doubt that Waffler is full of shit. You can try to twist some convoluted meaning out of Mike's and Ken's responses, but 'green environmental policy' is not science, it is politics. It is much easier to worship a political party like someone from Dallas worships the Cowboys, but it hardly ever has anything to do with reality. BTW Al Gore is being sued by meteorologists from the Weather Channel for spreading lies about global warming -- thousands of other REAL scientists agree. A true scientist would agree that there is enough evidence to support alternative views than those of Al Gore (who is making millions of dollars on this).

WAFFLER SMITH - THIS LINK'S FOR YOU: Al Gore sez, "...I took the initiative, creating the internet"... this is spoken at about the :50-:55 mark.

Truth is a terrible thing to entrust with a libtard.
