"A large number of people, certainly the majority of the political looter class, think the best way to deal with the rapidly deepening economic crisis is via 'stimulus packages' with money plucked off the magic money tree... which is to say, by trying to re-inflate the credit bubble that actually caused the crisis. This is a bit like treating alcoholics by urging them to buy more whiskey."

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if we are to restore a public sense of personal responsibility, accountability and morality we must return to the Constitution. In order to do that we must first rout out every politician who is in the pockets of the Globalist bankers and Abolish the Federal Reserve, it's collection wing, the IRS and return to sound currency. No more paper currency out of thin air. We've been playing a losing game of Monopoly against a Banker who has infinite supplies of...garbage money. Of course we lose...every time!

Interesting, but you might try to understand an intangible effect caused by a stimulus, for instance a non alcoholic attending an AA meeting. Wouldn't that be inspiring?
