Pretty straight forward - and it can be applied to today. If we ignore the evil that abhors our nation we, in effect, become an accomplice to it. By doing nothing we will be allowing those that hate us to cause more destruction and slaughter. Do not be so naive to think that we can "practice preemptive peace" while terrorists and radicals are planning our demise.
