Someone else said "All that needs to happen for evil to prevail is that good men do nothing." We can watch this in action the next time we goose step to the polls to vote. :)

Anon it was the English philosopher Edmund Burke. Yes, that's indifference, and only seeing what you want to see - a good trio...

There are many ways to become an accomplice to evil. To ignore evil is an excellent way to become an accomplice to it

The perfect argument for enslaving the People, Reston, since little opposition from the Democrats has allowed GWB to steal more power from the Congress and the People. If the People do nothing but scream, "bomb 'em, bomb 'em" WE will have to pay the price -- and we are, but who cares? Not the masses.

Gee...does that mean if we ignore the evil of the terrorist we are accomplice to it? Or are we only accomplices if we have a different political affiliation to the President?

Pretty straight forward - and it can be applied to today. If we ignore the evil that abhors our nation we, in effect, become an accomplice to it. By doing nothing we will be allowing those that hate us to cause more destruction and slaughter. Do not be so naive to think that we can "practice preemptive peace" while terrorists and radicals are planning our demise. Don't be so naive to think that you can sit down at the table and come to a peaceful agreement with those that so disrespect human life that they continually sacrifice their own just to destroy others'.
