Reader comments about this quote:
The Left / Right scale measures the form of socialism (Communism / Fascism, Progressivism / Neo-con(ism), etc.) The Left/Right scale does not address in anyway freedom, liberty, individual sovereignty, a noble being's inalienable rights, natural law, justice or a republican form of government.

At natural law, liberty, freedom, individual sovereignty, inalienable rights, and a republican form of government are well measured upon the rule. Nature provides the rule, teachers through grace provide the knowledge and skill needed. Or with this quote, To stand at the plumb, explains nothing of either side. rhetoric of no worth used so often by lawyers.

Every 'thing' has a right and a left, top and a bottom, and a front and a back. If someone calls me a 'radical right-winger' then I know that they are a radical left-winger. Same if I am called a peace-loving pinko liberal, the accuser reveals more of his own character than mine. I believe it takes two wings to fly, and at least two legs to stand well. Eyes in front, but watch your back -- whether on the left or the right. Me? I am at the center, of course!
