Though the Left/Right scale is misleading (comparing political systems, referencing liberty, law or rights, or allowing alternate philosophies / religions), it does somewhat measure the method of socialism being employed. -- Mike, Norwalk
The democrat left is sold out to big government. The "right" doesn't mind big government as long as it rules in their behalf. The only party that really wants smaller, much smaller government along with very low taxes is the Libertarian party. -- jim k, Austin, Tx
