McFadden is a true patriot. Not only did he work himself from cashier of a bank to become its president, he later was Chairman of the US House Commmittee on Banking and Currency when he made this speech. All attempts at impeaching Federal Reserve Board governors were unsuccesful, and he lost his seat by 561 votes. Later he was poisoned resulting in his death in 1936.
