In 2006 ignorance is appropriate, primarily because there is too much to keep track of. For example the tax code is extensive. Since most of it doesn't apply to any specific individual and it is so difficult to find what does apply that the IRS doesn't understand it, people are ignorant of it. -- Joe, Rochester, MI
