In the last century we have rolled one war or military action into the next so that we do now find ourselves in a place where the Executive has gained an inordinate share in this triad of a supposed governmental balance of power. Aggrandizement will reach new levels of understatement if the new Congress votes to let Bush escalate this tragic war.

Bigger government = lesser freedoms. Always has, always will. It seems, from the government's point of view, that the reason government even exists is to grow. Ever heard of a government getting smaller? We always need bigger government, especially in times of "crisis" and "war".

If we as citizens of a free republic will not defend ourselves against our own government's abuses, we will end up serfs upon our own land.

Not sure, but I may be in agreement with President Madison, in that the President appears to have and continues to be the war and strife puppet of the status quo to preserve their unjustified advantages.  We need fair and equal wealth distribution.

Sillik, from your diluted dictionary for mentally ill children, how do you define "wealth". Will minerals and trees be distributed to individuals or groups only? Is power generation only supplied by helots / serfs / slaves for equal advantage? Then, what god owns this wealth that you think should be equally distributed. How would your concept of equal wealth be distributed? In your ant farm utopia, why is there no equal inalienable rights or liberty at nature's law? Scientifically, such theocratic word salad is antithetical to nature's law (all scientific methodology).
