"No loss by flood and lightning,
no destruction of cities and temples
by hostile forces of nature,
has deprived man
of so many noble lives and impulses
as those which his intolerance
has destroyed."

Stated very clearly and to the point. The direct result of democracy, all derivations of socialism, and the statist theologies (local to national) of the 20th century overly prove the quotes absolute truthfulness.

"It says in the book: 'Burn and destroy, and repent, and redeem, and revenge, and deploy, and rumble thee forth to the land of the unbelieving scum on the other side 'cause they don't go for what's in The Book, and that makes them bad. So verily we must choppeth them up, and stompeth them down or rent a nice French bomb to poof them out of existance while leaving their real estate just where we need it to use again for temples in which to praise OUR GOD.' (Cause he can really take care of business!)" -- Zappa, 'Dumb All Over'

This quote is ok, but i feel Helen would have done better if she kept her liberal-political convictions to herself.

Spoken like a true Marxist. It's not intolerance that destroys noble lives (that is the life that is earned by "the sweat of his brow"). The root cause of the destruction is envy. That would be the kind of envy socialists have for other peoples property. Millions have been lost to socialists' greed disguised as a love for mankind.

This is mankind's continued downfall. He keeps killing that which is the most valuable, life, and in particular, human life.

The children are intolerant to any who will not play. The gentleman, however, corrects.
